Nagoya Oktoberfest (Yes, its in July)
The Nagoya Oktoberfest is an exciting event that features live performances by the Maria & Alpenbuam band. They play traditional German folk music, including the popular toasting song “Ein Prosit.” The festival offers special activities such as Happy Hour Coupons for seniors aged 65 and above on weekdays. There are also themed days, like Yukata Day on July 7 and 15, where visitors in traditional Japanese attire receive original goods. On Family Day, celebrated on July 14, elementary school children can participate in a no-lose lottery.
Additionally, there is a photo spot with a face panel designed with German costumes for attendees to capture and share their experiences on social media. The event encourages social media engagement by offering a 100-yen coupon for those who follow and post with specific hashtags.
